3 Killer Shortcuts For Selling Stuff Online

A few months ago, I hosted an online event called Blogcamp. I leveraged every internet sales strategy I knew, and in just 60 days, I made $32,000.

During this experience, I learned it's not the strategy that sold the tickets, it was the psychology behind it. The urgency and scarcity and transparency. It was this experience which solidified this belief.

All selling is based in emotional decisions.

This should effect your copywriting, your color choices, your images, and even the frequency behind your strategy.

The question we should be asking is: How well do we understand the brain of a consumer? For me, the secret has been realizing we're all human and that nobody enjoys being tricked, lied to, misled, manipulated, or taken advantage of.

Consumers seek three things: quality, care, and value.

That being said, it's my responsibility to add these things to your life. To help you become better entrepreneurs, leaders, and influencers. And while I see a lot of infographics online, this one was worth posting. You'll learn a few pieces of important emotional science needed to build a strong online sales strategy.

  1. Hi Dale, I just started following your blog/page and have felt as though the content really resonates with me. I’ve had some good results with online marketing via my website over the last 4-5 months. I’ve been told by people who call for a quote that I “look friendly”, and that is why they chose my agency. I’m an insurance agent, and have spend a lot of time trying to create a website that is as personal as possible- the idea being that I want people to know that they will have a professional experience with my agency but that experience is wrapped up in a warm fuzzy feeling.   3. Just curious if this “game plan” would work for a non-product based marketing campaign? I am working for a real estate who wants me to send emails that are more interesting, yet have lots of text. Simple, clean, and image-oriented emails are what I’d like, but I am not sure if this fits with real estate marketing. Suggestions? Thanks
