    this hit me right where I am – struggling with the critical difference between being Childish versus being Childlike.
    Looking for validation and answers from others is childish – wanting them to be the parent for me, to make the decision. Not laziness on my part so much as it is doubt and lack of trust of my own intuition, exactly as Bernadette points out.
    Being childlike, however, means stepping forward in faith, knowing that everything IS ok right now and shall continue to be so. Doing so, while unfamiliar and uncomfortable, is the only way to grow.
