I do this myself regularly and LOVE it. It's super empowering and really makes a difference.
Firstly, before we dive into the 5 steps, have you ever noticed how the drive to “be your best self” has the power to motivate and inspire you, but also to potentially disempower you at the same time?
It's a sneaky thing, so I want to draw your attention to it.
Here's the deal – in saying you want to be your best self, there's an unspoken message that you're not currently your best self right now. Of course we all know that might be true – as there is always room for growth to be an improved version. We're all growing and reaching new heights day by day. And perhaps we never become our BEST self, as the possibility to expand and improve into higher potential is available to us every day until the day we die!
However, just be conscious of the fact that while striving to be your best self, you can be left with an underlying sense that you're not “quite there yet”. It can make you feel like who you are right now, or where you are at in your life right now, is not quite enough.
